Admiral Home Improvements – expert installers of great value conservatory styles in Ipswich, Suffolk and Essex.

At Admiral Home Improvements we specialise in designing and building custom built, made to measure conservatories and orangeries for a high quality, long lasting investment which will complement the appearance of your home in Ipswich or Woodbridge.

All of our conservatories can be built in the same wide range of colours as our windows and doors, plus they are all tailored to suit your needs and the characteristics of your home.

Beautiful, bespoke conservatories, designed to suit your home, garden and lifestyle.

Victorian Conservatory Style

Victorian Conservatory

Traditional, elegant, curved (and ornate if you wish)

Perhaps the most popular style, Victorian conservatories are versatile, deliver an attractive and comfortable space and suit all styles of houses from heritage homes to the most modern new-builds. A faceted design, usually with 3 or 5 panels lending it a curved appearance, it includes a pitched roof. The roof traditionally has a decorated ridge with end finials.

Georgian Conservatories and Edwardian Conservatories

Classic, rectangular, practical and versatile

Clean lines make these conservatory styles (their names are interchangeable) feel classic, contemporary and timeless. They offer the best return too when it comes to useable floor space. The rectangular floor plan and pitched roof deliver a bright, unimpeded space – great for a dining area or for sofas with a central coffee table or play space!

Lean-to Conservatory Style

Lean To or Mediterranean Conservatories

Easy, practical, rectangular, traditional and cost-effective

With a rectangular floorplan and usually a slanting roof, this conservatory leans towards the wall of your home like an extension. A popular and easy-to-install option, they tend to come with a lower price tag, but still plenty of customization opportunities. Fab for bringing the outside in by incorporating small or large scale bifolding doors.

P-Shaped Conservatories

Multi-aspect and big on space for a choice of living areas

Imagine a practical rectangular lean to or Edwardian-style space and curve-ended Victorian conservatory combined. Enjoy a range of views and several great sun room spaces in one. Usually featuring a larger floorplan than standard conservatories, it is generally better suited to larger properties.

T-Shaped Conservatories

Impressive, symmetrical, multi-aspect and immensely versatile

The combination of two rectangular conservatory styles, such as lean to together with a Georgian or gable-end conservatory delivers an impressive multi-aspect space with a central projection into the garden as its key feature. Suited to larger properties, this achieves an enviably large floorplan and a truly versatile, light and bright ‘set of rooms’ in one.

Lantern Conservatories

Traditional, two-tiered elegance for extra height and light

Typically favoured for period properties or heritage-styled modern homes, the ‘Lantern’ is the original first conservatory design. Its two-tiered roof allows for extra ventilation through electrically operated windows, making it a popular choice for indoor swimming pool rooms.

Gable End Conservatory With Garden Views

Gable-End Conservatories

Vaulted, symmetrical, practical and spacious

With a rectangular footprint like the Georgian-style conservatory and a triangular-topped, vertical front panel (like the end of a gable) to echo other aspects of your home, this is a popular choice, suitable for all sizes of properties and gardens. The practical floorplan and front windows which can extend to meet the vaulted roof maximise the natural light and deliver an irresistible feeling of space.

Solid/Solid and Glass Roof Conservatories

Thermally efficient lightweight roofs and high performance glazing

Create a conservatory ‘extension’ through our innovative light-weight roofing solutions and enjoy your extra room all year-round. Options include glass roofs with anti-glare and thermally efficient glazing, ‘solid’ roofs featuring special insulated ‘tiles’ and glazed panels,  light-weight flat roofs with glazed lanterns or skylights and many other combinations too.

Large Span Portal/Large Scale and Combination Conservatories

Transformative, practical and big on wow-factor

Whether you have a big space or just big ambitions for a truly bespoke conservatory to transform your home, large span conservatories are an option. Combine different conservatory styles such as Victorian, Edwardian or gable end together to create innovative sun room spaces or connecting corridors all under one impressive roof.
